Early Access to Proposition Search
Search by legal proposition. Even the nuanced, hard-to-search-for propositions.
Next week, we’re launching Proposition Search on midpage. It’s a new way of searching that fits nicely into our existing grid-based legal research experience.
Instead of typing in keywords or booleans, you’ll be able to type in the legal proposition you want support for. The full sentence, just as you would write it in a brief, memo, or email. Every search result will come with the sentence that matches your proposition highlighted, even if the relevant quote doesn’t include the same phrasing or keywords.
If you’re a former Casetext user, this might sound familiar to their Parallel Search feature. We’re picking up where they left off, with significant improvements on performance and user experience.
Request early access using the Substack Survey form above. It takes two seconds, and you’ll be the first to try it out!
More details coming next week.
